Welcome to Tarryn Graham Physiotherapy
As a physiotherapist with a special interest in and further training in Women’s and Pelvic Health I am dedicated to helping YOU achieve optimal health, mobility, and comfort in your body. Whether you’re managing pain, recovering from an injury, or addressing sensitive pelvic health concerns, I am here to support and facilitate your journey to healing and health!
About Me
My journey to help people find relief, recovery and strength in their bodies began in 2001, upon graduating from the University of Stellenbosch. Physiotherapy isn’t just a job for me—it’s a deep-seated passion to help others feel their best.
My path started in neuromusculoskeletal and sports physiotherapy, but it truly resonated when I found Women’s Health in 2010. After having my first child, I gained a profound understanding of the vital support women need during and after pregnancy. I know that every woman’s journey is unique, and they can face incredibly challenging situations – whether it’s navigating menstrual issues like endometriosis or PCOS, fertility struggles, the aches and pains of pregnancy, postpartum recovery, the changes of menopause, or sensitive issues like bladder/bowel control, sexual pain, or intimacy concerns. It’s a privilege to walk alongside women, offering support and guidance as they navigate their healing process. I’m here to listen, understand, and help you find your path to wellness.
My Qualifications
- BSc in Physiotherapy (University of Stellenbosch)
- Neuromusculoskeletal post graduate course (Previously known as OMT)
- Women’s health post graduate course
- Member of HPCSA/ SASP/ SASHA/ SAUGA and IUAGA
- Member of MY SEXUAL HEALTH TEAM – Multidisciplinary team focused on sexual health and managing sexual dysfunction
My Approach
I believe that the body has the innate ability to heal itself and thrive within every season and challenge of life. I see my role as your physiotherapist as one of coming alongside you, the patient, to facilitate and empower you to manage your body to bring you into a space of optimal function. I believe that no two bodies are the same, and neither are my treatment plans.
My approach is built around understanding your unique needs, goals, and lifestyle. I’ll work closely with you to create a therapy plan that’s both effective and sustainable, blending the latest physiotherapy techniques with a supportive and holistic approach.
What to Expect
As the sole practitioner at my practice, I’m a one-man band and my home-based practise provides a calm, welcoming and safe space for you to attend sessions. To me each patient is valued and important when you come to see me, you get my full, personalised attention in a private space where you are not just another number. I’ll be with you every step of the way, from our first consultation through every treatment session, focused on helping you meet your goals and regain confidence in your body.
I take pride in building strong, supportive relationships with my patients and ensuring that they feel heard, respected, and truly cared for. I also value the multidisciplinary team approach and believe that together with other practitioners and the patient at the centre, we serve your needs best.
A Little More About Me
Outside of my work, I’m also a wife to a wonderful husband and a mother of two, and I bring this same sense of care and dedication to both my family and my practice. I understand the importance of balancing life’s demands with physical health, and I’m committed to helping each of my patients find that balance, too.
